Dr. Hurley was born in the Bon Air area of Richmond. She knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from a young age as her dad was also one. After attending Virginia Tech for her undergraduate degree, she went on to obtain her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Auburn University. Dr. Hurley and her husband of 30+years have lived in Hanover County for 18 years & raised their three grown children there. Her spare time is spent working and playing with her 6 labrador retrievers and 2 cats.
Mindy Miller has been working for veterinarians for 30 years. A number of those years have been spent as a veterinary assistant at a veterinary emergency clinic. Mindy is originally from Louisville, but has spent most of adult life in the Richmond area. She has 2 children and one grandson, they have same passion and love for animals as Mindy Miller has for animals. Mindy is continually taking in dogs and cats that need rescuing and seems to have a special love for geriatric pets. She also is great at raising orphan puppies and kittens. In her spare time, Mindy enjoys gardening and spending time with her grandson. She is also available for pet-sitting.
